Job Description: Lab Assistant

Reporting to the Electrical Engineer, the lab assistant will be responsible for executing quality testing on various lighting products and assembling product displays as required, as well as supporting sales and marketing team for upcoming trade shows and sales meetings.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks :

  • Installation of lighting/electric wires for display
  • Installation of plumbing accessories for display
  • Installation of racking
  • Work with melamine, plywood and other construction material
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to install kiosks for trade shows
  • Fixing and installation in store (retailers) display
  • Create display from scratch
  • Furniture installation and other office repairs maintenance

Education/Experience :

  • Experience in construction/renovation/electrical wirings
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of electrical wirings, construction materials, plumbing and lighting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office software (Word and Outlook)
  • Communicates in English and French
  • Meticulous and attention to detail
  • Solution driven & work with tight deadlines
  • Occasional travelling is required (US and Canada)
  • Valid driver license
  • Variable daytime schedule

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse environment

Salary based on experience
