Job Description: Product Marketing Manager

Reporting to the V.P. of Sales and Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible to create or innovate existing reporting based on business needs.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Determine consumer trends and retailer needs using market insights.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provides guide for Product Development team on market needs and ensures all customers’ requirements are met.
  • Obtains product market share by working with sales to develop product sales strategies.
  • Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales trends and special reports and analyses.
  • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, and production.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manages product portfolio and product life cycle.


  • University or College degree in business or background in Marketing management or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong customer focus with business acumen, problem solving skills and results oriented.
  • Strong trend analysis and understanding of consumer insights.
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal and listening skills.
  • Strong aptitude for numbers, trends and product life cycles.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent internal, cross-functional working relationships.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Travel +/- 25%
